Last night, MTV Music Awards 2 O took over The Roxy in West Hollywood to celebrate "the best in digital music" - for the second time this year.

O Music Awards have their opening ceremony this April in Las Vegas, where fans have to give their vote to decide who will take home the award for everything from "Artist Most Innovative" for "Animated GIF Favorites" for "Best Tweet. " This go around some categories may have changed, but the winners including Bjork (Digital Genius Award), Tokio Hotel (Fans Army FTW, they won the same award back in April), Nirvana (Best Viral Videos Vintage), and Adam Lambert (Must Artists follow on Twitter). Fans cast more than 20 million votes.
Awards aside, the show began with a surprise performance from the fantastic Swedish pop goddess Robyn, who ripped through her dance hit, "Call your girlfriend." Robyn's performance was broadcast on MTV, but the rest of the event is running at various sites such as Viacom Entertainment Group MTV.com, VH1.com, CMT.com, and more.

In accordance with the theme of the entire Internet, award presenters like Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, and the Future of Odd Tyler, The Creator, all delivered in a pre-recorded video web cam to announce the nomination.
Another showed highlights include a tribute to Steve Jobs, who began with a short video narrated by Yoko Ono, followed by a typical wackadoo performance of The Flaming Lips, who covered the classic Beatles' "Revolution," with lead singer Wayne Coyne wearing tinfoil and various members of the band playing with iPads.
Up-and-coming rapper Mac Miller also stopped for two songs, "Party on 5th Avenue" and "Frick Park Market," while The Band Perry and Alabama Shakes also performed.

The biggest awards night went to his own O Music Awards, which recruited a group of willing - and maybe a little crazy - participants danced for twenty-four hours with music DJ Diamond Kuts and managed to break the Guinness World Record for longest dance party. Dance-a-thon also helped raise money for Education Network Gay, Lesbian & Straight, The It Gets Better Project, Gay Straight Alliance Network, the Human Rights Campaign, Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, and the Trevor Project.
